Pocket of a Thief contains songs that I wrote from 1995-2004. Phil Ramone and I produced 8 of the 11 tracks in New York, and the other 3 songs I produced in Los Angeles a few years later. There are a lot of great performances here, not the least of which is one of the last solos Michal Brecker played before his tragic and untimely death on “Day by Day”. |
